Brighton is the place to be…
It is going to be a busy one in Brighton this weekend, the open house event is in it’s third week so time is ticking if you are thinking of doing the rounds. Ours is open from 11am until 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday, you can read more about it on my previous blog post.
The “Assembly Room” are running an Art and Design market at the Unitarian Church, New Road, Brighton (opposite the Mash Tun). They are renowned in Brighton for only taking work which is top of the class, they are strict on entries and it is said that they run a very tidy ship. There is everything on offer from jewellery to books, ceramics to textiles and a nice selection of cakes to purchase. John Dilnot is there with his amazing prints and he is sharing a stall with his wife (or partner!) Belen Gomez, I am in love with her ceramics. What’s more it is located right in the centre of town so it is super easy to visit and there really is something for everyone.
