Brighton’s new farmers market
Something for the weekend # 07
Open every Saturday, there is a new little farmers market in the old Christmas tree yard on North Road, Brighton.
There are flower sellers, cheese mongers selling their locally produced produce, fruit and vegetable stalls selling the most amazing looking and tasting crops and local bakers selling breads and cakes. At the back of the yard is a cafe serving up bacon and sausage sandwiches, coffee and tea’s and most importantly there is a weekly hog roast. We have been a couple of times and it is lovely to sit outside on these crisp sunny mornings and enjoy a treat or too and do a bit of tasty fresh shopping.
The farm also run a little cafe at 99 North Road, BN1 1YE which does “the best full English in Brighton” according to Lomokev!
