Craftaganza Live – Feb ’13
It’s time to start off the year, January is always a slow starter for me after the madness of Christmas so a restful month was much needed. Anyway, it’s time to kick start the creativity and plan the next Craftaganza Live…
I am so excited that Eleanor Callaghan will be sharing her story of “Dig for Victory” with us. After setting up her sustainable fashion label seven years ago, the Etsy store really took off and the bespoke dresses are sold globally, all of which are designed and made at the brand new Brighton shop, it opened in September of last year.
Eleanor is a self taught seamstress which adds a uniqueness to her work, she also has an eye for amazing retro and vintage fabrics, all of which are used to make her dresses, thus meaning that each dress is totally unique, super special and highly desirable.
We are lucky to have such talent here in our home town and this Craftaganza Live is not one to be missed. Join us in the usual Old Market venue on Thursday 21st February, it is free but please bring a little beer money so that the Old Market want to keep on letting us use their lovely venue. Doors will open at 7pm and the talk will begin at 7:30pm.
Keep up with any news by following me on Twitter and also follow the Craftaganza blog. I’m looking forward to an inspiring year and I hope to see you at the first Craftaganza Live…..x
