Rock Cakes Winter Dates

So PLATFORM 2011 has been and gone, I really loved doing it, so thank you Lomokev, Lucy, Liw and Piers for taking part and for all of your hard work. Thank you also to all who came along, much fun was had at the private view. The new Rock Cakes woodland and woodcuts collections are out there for all to see, Rock Cake can kick back and relax now, well sort off…

First up is the October Makers Boutique taking place on Saturday the 29th, 10:30 until 5:00pm, in the Unitarian church in the Centre of Brighton. For the past two Halloweens Rock Cakes has done a scary give away and this years is super special. I will be giving away 13 trick or treat goody bags, each of which include a starry head limited edition gold mirror acrylic skull and bone pack (wow, that was a mouthful). All you have to do is say “trick or treat” when you buy anything from me at the stall or use trickortreat coupon code at my very pretty Etsy shop checkout with any purchase, valid from Thursday the 28th until the goody bags have all gone (first come first served).

Rock Cakes will then be taking part in Art Junky and it is our first time at the Brighton Phoenix Centre, we cant wait. It’s a two day bonfire weekend event, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of November. There will be 50 stalls taking part so it is going to be full of great work and inspiration from lots of local Brighton Artists.

Next up will be the Christmas shows and we are taking part in Makers Boutique and Craftaganza during the first two weekends of December, I am planning some super festive treats so there will be more about them when the time comes. I reccomend that if you are planning to get any precious jewellery that you put an order in nice and early (ie: before December) to insure that we have time to make your order with out any panic or rush!

That’s all for now so thanks for reading, there is lots going on at this end, we are planning a joint Rock Cake and Lomokev talk about online media and promotion for crafty makers which will probably be next year now, hopefully at the handmade gallery (ladies if your reading?!…) and I will also be posting about the things that I learnt at the amazing helloetsy Berlin summit, once it has all sunk in!

I hope to be trick or treated by you either on Etsy or at Makers Boutique…
