The Paper Cinema at The Old Market, Brighton.

This is one for those with an appreciation for Craft which pushes boundaries and is used in a unique and different way. Originally made to accompany music The Paper Cinema began creating projections back in 2004, simple cutouts and paper puppets are used to story tell and are projected onto a screen.

The Paper Cinema have developed a feature film in conjunction with Battersea Arts Centre which will be performed at The Old Market on September 19th, 20th and 21st The film is entitled “The Paper Cinema’s Odyssey” you can read all about it on their website or watch a short film about it on The Old Market website.

The Old Market are offering a concession price of just £10 to everybody who takes part in Craftaganza and / or comes to the Craftaganza Live talks, you can just quote Craftaganza if booking on the phone or on the door if you purchase a concession ticket online.

I will definitely be going along to check it out and hope to see some familiar crafty faces there…
