Possibly shrew - I just googled elephant shrew and it's a thing, so I think it's one of those.

Not perfectly glazed - I got him a bit too wet but I don't think it matters too much!

I get serious porcelain envy. Like, actual heart-racing, jealous-in-a-good-way kinda vibes when I see proper handmade things. I’ve started and stopped ceramics more times than I’d dare admit - always because my brain goes blank and I don’t know what to make next. This time, I’ve committed to one year - every Monday. If I make something weird or ugly, it’s tough - I have to crack on (yes, pun). This creature series is the result of month one.
