Art cannot be planned...

Art cannot be planned...

You can plan to show up.
You can sketch an idea.

But without letting go,
true art never comes through.

Preconceptions kill the vibe.
Somewhere we have to find flow.

What you let into your head
will show in your work.

Ever walked the wobbly bridge in London?
From Tate Modern to St Paul’s.
Iconic.

But if you look down...
you’ll see tiny illustrations.
Discarded chewing gum
turned into art.

Ben Wilson let go.
He didn’t plan to paint on gum
that once lived in a stranger’s mouth.

But there it is.

Art. Creativity. Niche. Weirdness.
It comes from letting go.
From serendipity.
From flow.

Have you ever let go
and been taken on a journey?

Here's Ben's insta and yes, I often wear socks and sandals...
